Point d'Esny, Mauritius Villa Vakoa is a spacious and comfortable three bedroom villa located in Pointe d’Esny, a mere 15 minutes from the airport in the South East of Mauritius. Situated only 100m from one the island’s whitest beaches and best swimming spots, this great holiday house offers quick access to the island’s largest unspoiled lagoon and other off the beaten track treasures near the historic village of Mahebourg.
The Villa
Villa Vakoa has been designed in such a way to specifically accommodate for holiday makers and seasoned travelers alike. The three bedrooms are situated on the first level, two of which face the front garden and have access to private balconies overlooking the pool and tropical garden. The third bedroom faces the rear of the property which overlooks the surrounding vegetation. The shady, manicured garden and pool offer great privacy and respite from the summer sun and is great for kids to play safely. The access to the beach is only 100 meters away. Villa Vakoa features travertine floors throughout, hardwood and granite finish in the kitchen and well appointed soft furnishings throughout the entire tropical home. The living and dining area downstairs is spacious and comfortable, offering first class quality and comfort. For gourmet catering, the newly fitted and fully equipped kitchen offers ample space and features an open plan breakfast bar overlooking the outdoor patio and pool area. For sun worshippers, this wonderful beach-house features a delightful landscaped garden with a large sparkling freshwater pool for private bathing on those sizzling Mauritius summer days, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Meet your hosts - Diane & Christophe
We have been running our holiday rental house in pointe desny since 2009, we have 2 daughters Madysson aged 12 and Chloe aged 10 and we have 4 dogs and 2 cats. We like walking and running along the beach, swimming & snorkelling in the lagoon just a few steps away from our house. Christophe is a retired hotelier now running Catamaran Cruises Mauritius that offers sailing experiences around the island and to Saint Brandon and Diane is a holistic practitioner and represents a South African Cupping Therapy brand called "Bella Bacci" in Mauritius.

Meet Priscilla
Our housekeeper Priscilla will make sure that the villa is cleaned according to the recommend sanitary protocols before you check in. Due to the COVID situation we understand that not every one is at ease with daily service. So we have decided to remove this service from our daily rates and offer it only to those wanting daily service for a nominal daily fee. Priscilla is also and excellent cook and can prepare delicious Mauritian meals. This is an experience not to be missed as Priscilla can take you to the local markets and shops via bus to source the ingredients for your meals. This service comes with a nominal fee. Just ask Diane at time of booking about our revised housekeeping service and Priscilla's Mauritian meals.
